The stars of the menu here are undoubtedly the pierogi, praised as "one of the best" by customers like Jim Way, who raved about their authenticity and flavor. These tender dumplings are expertly crafted, taking you on a nostalgic journey through traditional Eastern European cuisine. Pair them with a side of their savory sausage, and you’ll understand why Jacqueline Stone couldn’t resist coming back for more!
But the delights don’t stop at pierogi. The cinnamon bun deserves a special mention, as Lindsey pointed out — it’s a perfect sweet treat to end your meal. Light, fluffy, and glazed to perfection, it’s a must-try that captures the essence of home baking. And if you’re in the mood for something different, how about trying a cabbage roll? Family ran restaurant. One of the best pierogi ever. Daughter said best latte she ever had! Owner were very friendly and great atmosphere.

Spotted this place while searching for lunch in the town of Mundare and decided on a plate of 5 perogies with 1 piece of sausage. I was not disappointed, especially when it came to the cinnamon bun - delicious! I will be trying a cabbage roll in the future! And it's not just good food, but also the friendly service and a beautiful shop featuring over 40 local artists to peruse!

What a lovely restaurant. Cute, charming & quaint. The food is just as expected- no frills yet classic! The customer service was excellent; the people working were kind & friendly. Definitely recommend the cinnamon bun, it was a perfect way to cap off a pleasant lunch.

Definitely a hidden gem. We had the daily special which was perfect for lunch. Everything was hot and fresh and the atmosphere was quaint. Lots of interesting things to buy and it was so nice, country folks so friendly and they bend over backwards to keep you happy. We will definitely be going back.

Once a month they have live music and a buffet style spread with genuine home cooked food in an artsy eclectic setting. I have been twice for the Jam Night. I will go again! Last month was themed "Harvest" and they did not disappoint. Everything there was made with ingredients sourced directly from local gardens and farms. Great food with authentic folk music. 10/10

The best potato bacon soup and cinnamon buns around for miles—truly! Eclectic shop brimming with locally made jewellery, wall art, and wares. Excellent service. Menu has some staple Ukrainian foods and coffees.

Friendly service from the owner. Wonderful decor and art work (and art is for sale). The food was very good. Cabbage soup was the best I e had since my Grandma’s many years ago!

Stopped in on my way through. Home-made food was incredible. The staff were friendly. Just a really nice atmosphere. They even gave me a cinnamon bun as a treat for the road. So very kind. Thanks again
